Rabbi Michael N. Dolgin
Rabbi Michael Dolgin, Senior Rabbi of Temple Sinai congregation, was ordained at HUC-JIR in May, 1992 and is proud to have served as assistant and Associate Rabbi of Temple Sinai. Though originally from Chicago, IL, Michael attended university at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, where he received a bachelor's and a master's degree in speech communication.
During university, he took training in crisis counseling and worked for three years as a volunteer at Oxford Crisis and Referral Centre. While in rabbinical school, Michael served as a part-time instructor at his alma mater where he taught interpersonal communication and public speaking. Rabbi Dolgin's scholarly interests focus upon the earliest stages of Rabbinic Judaism and the primary text of that period, the Mishnah.
Rabbi Dolgin is married, and he and Joan have three sons, Andrew, Matthew, & Zachary.
