from September to June
Kiddie Ko-op is a stepping stone to our nursery program and is designed for children turning two years old by December 31. Parents are involved on a rotational basis and are a very important part of our program. The goal of our program is to encourage young children to develop independence from their home environment and begin to acquire some social skills. Our semi-structured program provides the security but allows the flexibility to meet each child’s individual needs. Each class has a maximum of fifteen children, three teachers and one parent each day.
The program includes music and gym specialists, free play in a fully equipped room, art, lending library and snack. All Jewish Holidays are celebrated and a special Shabbat ceremony is highlighted each week.
Nursery

9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Our nursery program is based on promoting positive self-esteem and love of learning. Our goal is to help develop the child’s social, emotional, intellectual and physical capabilities to the fullest.
Junior/Senior Kindergarten

Our JK/SK is a continuation of our Nursery program, known for its enriched educational program geared for children who are ready for a stimulating and academically challenging learning experience.
The program provides a wide variety of experiences including music, art, drama, gym, library time, Mad Science, playground time and computers. Each class has several opportunities to share Shabbat with the Seniors at Baycrest. It is through our enriched Jewish curriculum that children gain an understanding of their Jewish identity and appreciation for their rich heritage. |
