Other Activities

In addition to all the programs and activities available in the Nursery program, JK/SK will also learn phonics through the Letterland Land alphabet program.

Playground
Our outdoor playground, which is C.A.S. approved, includes swings, slide, wood climbing apparatus, sandbox, little playhouse and many riding toys.  Our newest addition to the playground is an Amphitheatre which includes a beautiful wooden puppet theatre on a stage surrounded by several little benches.  At times the Amphitheatre has become a Sukkah, The Temple, and a castle and is a great asset in encouraging the children to interact with each other and promote their creative side!

Mini-Afternoon Programs
Our min-afternoon programs are specialized one hour activities from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. and/or 2.00 to 3.00 p.m. We have a variety of choices ranging from cooking, drama, science, Hebrew, clay work, puppetry, child aerobics and little readers to name a few. You may choose to enroll in one or more programs to suit your child’s needs. We offer a fall, winter and spring session.

Lunch Program
We offer a supervised lunch for those children staying for the mini-afternoon programs. An hour and a half (11.30 a.m. to 1.00 p.m.) filled with a variety of activities such as quiet time, story, free play and outside play (weather permitting.)
