Our Yiddish Heritage

Beth Anne Cole, singer and actress, will be performing with Brian Katz, guitar. Beth Anne Cole, a veteran of the stage, radio and TV, has appeared in theatres in England, Canada, and the United States. Her CD Song Under the Stair is an exploration of Yiddish songs. Also featured will be Temple Sinai’s own filosof, Harvey Atkin, and Ben Steinberg, who will lead us in singing. This concert is made possible through a gift from the Robert Gustin Memorial Fund.
Masterpieces of Jewish Choral Music

Temple Sinai’s professional High Holy Day Choir, conducted by Cantor Gershon Silins, will join us for a concert of the greatest Jewish music ever written for choir. Featuring music from the United Kingdom and Europe, some of this music has never been heard in North America.
