Acts of Lovingkindness—G'milut Chasadim
“The highlight of my work on the Caring Community Committee is G’milut Chasidim. It has provided me the opportunity to build long-lasting and close friendships by working one-on-one with others.” —Debbie Swartz
This mitzvah gives assistance to members of the congregation on an ad hoc basis and as we are able. We are looking for people who are able to help with food shopping or a ride to a medical appointment. If you are available to help perform this mitzvah or if you require this help, please contact the Temple office by e-mail at office@templesinai.net.
Visiting the Sick or Infirm: Team Bikur Cholim
"The satisfaction that I get from the smile on the face of the person I am visiting is with me for a long time after I've been there." — Debbie Swartz
Our visiting committee has been visiting Temple Sinai seniors who are in long-term care facilities. Often these seniors are lonely and benefit greatly from social interaction.
If you are interested in participating in this very rewarding program contact the Temple Office by e-mail to office@templesinai.net.
